“As 1A1” (Copying Information From Other Failure Modes)

RCM facilitators frequently find that many failure modes have similar effects, consequences, decisions, tasks, etc.

RCM Desktop eliminates the need for switching between the similar failure modes and multiple trips through the Windows clipboard when copying information.

A mechanism is provided which enables the facilitator to copy any of the elements of another failure mode in a single operation, thus saving a great deal of time and minimising the possibility of introducing errors.

The Basic Edition allows copying of failure effects, downtime and repair time.

The Intermediate Edition allows copying of contingency action, criticality and equipment tags.

The Advanced Edition allows copying of decision logic responses, maintenance tasks, redesigns, symptoms and alarms.
