During an analysis there will often be occasions when the analysis group:

• discovers something that requires immediate action, or
• needs further information in order to continue with analysis of a failure mode.

RCM Desktop Advanced Edition provides a dedicated tab in the Analysis Editor window to record and manage such queries and actions.

Facilitators make use of this feature to make sure they don't forget to deal with items which might otherwise get overlooked.

In the Advanced and Ultimate Editions functions, functional failures or failure modes can be marked with a 'Black Flag' to identify where there are gaps in the analysis that need addressing.
